Two of Irelands finest folk acts Greene and Shine and Vickers Vimy are welcomed back to Matt Molloy’s Yard Bar for a combined evening of Irish/Americana folk songs. 

GREENE AND SHINE

Noel Shine and Mary Greene have long been an important element of the Cork and national Indie, Folk and Americana scene. Greene and Shine's music straddles the boundaries of Indie, Americana and Folk, with intertwining harmonies, skillful stringwork and fine songwriting. Both have lent their talents to the recordings of Christy Moore, Mick Hanly, Frances Black and John Spillane amongst many others.

ViCKERS VIMY

The Mayo based trio Vickers Vimy are regularly playlisted on RTE Radio, crafting songs that dwell on the borders of folk and Americana yet pushing boundaries and challenging the conventions of popular Irish folk. They have released two albums and several singles which have received national airplay.
