Janet Dowd hails from Co.Armagh and in 2010, she released her debut album ‘300 Miles’ on Blue Cow Records. It took theNumber 1 spot in Irish Music Magazine’s Top 10 Folk Albums, with one of the tracks, ‘John Condon’, named the BBC Radio Devon song of the year on Richard Digance’s show ‘Devon Folk’.

In September 2013 she released ‘Sailing Away’  which also took the Number 1 spot and stayed in the Top 10 for over a year.

Over the years she has collaborated with some exceptional musicians including the legendary Ric Sanders & Chris Leslie (Fairport Convention) and Tom Leary (Lindisfarne & Feast of Fiddles).

She returns to Matt Molloys to launch her latest release ‘HOME’ which has already went straight to Number 1!  She will be joined by a fine band of exceptional musicians to perform heart wrenching ballads and foot stomping tunes and songs. Doors open: 8PM. Admission is free.
